The Iris Cantor - UCLA Women's Health Research Center (WHERC) has partnered with Solve M.E./CFS Initiative to offer Myalgic Encephalitis (ME)/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)-specific funding through their Annual Health Pilot Program. Pilot funding is available for research related to the etiology or treatment of ME, also known as chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). ME/CFS is a disease characterized by:

The Younes & Soraya Nazarian Center for Israel Studies promotes the study of the history, culture and society of Israel as a modern Jewish and democratic state. The Center offers grants and fellowships to UCLA faculty, UCLA graduate and undergraduate students, and postdoctoral researchers with an interest in the field of Israel Studies.  There are numerous funding opportunities. Y&S Nazarian Center for Israel Studies (UCLA) is accepting applications for travel grants available to UCLA undergraduate and graduate students for: (1) presentation of conference papers focused on Israel Studies or (2) Israel-related projects that require limited, site-specific research (e.g., archival research). Grant funds may be used to cover airfare, accommodation/hotel costs, ground transportation costs and for conference registration fees.
