The Science Hub is a collaborative effort between UCLA and Amazon with the mission to address humanity’s pressing challenges by cross-pollinating academic and industry research that harnesses the power of artificial intelligence. The pilot program will provide up to 5 fellowships for recent recipients of doctoral or terminal degrees to complete specific research tasks while in residency at a host UC campus, department, institute or laboratory. CLASP-BC is part of CBCRP’s Program Initiative strategic priority to disseminate and implement high-impact, population-based prevention approaches by funding large scale, evidence-informed interventions (EIIs), through multi-jurisdictional actions, with the intent to decrease the risk of breast cancer and other chronic diseases (sharing common risk factors), particularly among racial/ethnic minorities and medically underserved populations in California.

The UCLA Initiative to Study Hate (ISH) proudly announces its call for proposals to further its campus-wide, cross-disciplinary efforts to study hate. ISH welcomes research proposals that explore and address both group-based hate and individual hatred. ISH is dedicated to supporting projects across various disciplines. ISH especially encourages projects that focus on political violence and hate, masculinities and hate, or their intersections.
UC researchers can submit a proposal for a research project focused on Latino, Hispanic, or Chicano communities in California and connections to Mexico.
UC faculty and administrators can apply for Seed Funding to carry out short term mobility programming in Mexico between September 2025 and August 2026.'
