The UC Multicampus-National Lab Collaborative Research and Training Awards fosters collaboration among faculty, lab scientists and students across UC campuses and National Laboratories. The 2026 award focus is: Fusion Research. This opportunity is intended to spur novel collaborations in areas of strategic scientific and national security importance that will position UC as a leader in critical areas of fusion research. Award Amount and Details
For projects awarded in the 2026 cycle, the applicant UC campus will receive the funds for all UC campus collaborators and will allocate funds to each UC campus in accordance with the final approved budget or project plan. Please visit the application homepage for more details.
