Call for Proposals 2023-2024 Faculty Career Development Award

On April 5, 2023 Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Anna Spain Bradley informed campus leadership and administrators that proposals are now being accepted for the Faculty Career Development Award program (FCDA) 2023-2024. This program encourages regular rank Assistant Professors and Assistant Professors-in-Residence to apply. This funding will support faculty with ongoing research projects, creative activities or embarkment of new projects. Awards are made in the form of a lump-sum of $5,000 – $15,000 in research funds. Funding will be allocated for AY 23-24 and does not renew.

Special consideration will be given to those whose research or creative activities advances UCLA’s values of equity, diversity, and inclusion for the University or community at large and those who have held the Assistant Professor rank for at least one year.

Award decisions are finalized in June 2023.
