Call for Applications: Institute of American Cultures (IAC) Social Justice Research Graduate Fellows

The UCLA Institute of American Cultures (IAC), with support from the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and the Office of the Vice Chancellor of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, seeks applicants for the second cohort of the Social Justice Research Graduate Fellows program. This Graduate Fellowship is designed to: stimulate research collaboration across the College of Letters and Science and professional school students at UCLA, and bridge academic research with community engagement. The program is open to UCLA graduate and professional school students with a demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary research in the social justice arena and who are willing to work in collaborative teams for the research and community engagement initiative “Social Justice and Education in the Community.” We will select a cohort of six Fellows. Fellows are expected to work approximately an average of five hours a week. Fellows will receive a $1,100 stipend, per quarter.

Completed applications must be received by Monday, September 9, 2019. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Applicants will be notified at the beginning of Fall Quarter 2019.
