On April 20, 2023 the UCLA Sustainable LA Grand Challenge (SLAGC) announced that applications were now being accepted for their Undergraduate Research Scholars Program (URSP). This program is for undergraduate students who are interested in making an impact in Los Angeles through their commitment to sustainability.
URSP unites undergraduate students across all disciplines in their first research experiences in the field of urban sustainability. The program is designed to intervene early to expose students to urban sustainability challenges and the interdisciplinary research approaches necessary to overcome these complex problems. The work done in this class will have a significant influence on both the campus and the wider Los Angeles community.
Alumni of this program have appreciated the connections they formed, specifically with professors, professionals and their peer URSP scholars.
The deadline for applications is Saturday, June 17, 2023.
