Announcing the 2nd Annual UCLA "Code for the Mission" App Competition

On April, 15, 2015, the Office of Intellectual Property and Office of Information Technology announced the 2nd Annual UCLA " Code for the Mission" App Competition. Please read the original BruinPost for more details.

 

The goal of the competition is to encourage the UCLA community (Faculty, Staff, and Students) to develop mobile apps (both native and web-based) that further UCLA’s mission of Research, Education and Service.

 

The competition includes three contest categories:

Education - Games that Enhance Learning

Research - Promoting a Culture of Sustainability

Service - Focusing on Wellness in the Community

Service: Focusing on Wellness in the Community

Many new efforts to promote wellness are abounding with the new found capabilities to manage personal health using smart phones.
