On November 1, 2022, Executive Vice Chancellor Roger Wakimoto shared the news that The National Institutes of Health (NIH) had announced a new Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Policy that applies to proposals submitted on or after January 25, 2023. The NIH DMS Policy covers data-generating research funded in whole or in part by the NIH. A site has been created to support the UCLA research community with these new requirements.
