On February 19, 2014, Vice Chancellor for External Affairs, Rhea Turteltaub announced via a BruinPost the launch of an online crowdfunding platform that provides critically-timed fundraising support for innovative projects led by faculty and student groups. The new platform is called UCLA Spark.
