University Librarian Virginia Steel Announces UCLA Library's Plans to Resume Onsite Services

On August 26, 2021, Virginia Steel, UCLA's university librarian, announced the Library's plans to steadily resume onsite services at most Library locations on Monday, September 13, 2021.

  • HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service [ETAS] (ends September 13) 
  • Temporary Remote Services – PETDOR and Page and Pickup (ends September 10)
  • Seat Reservations for Study Spaces (ends September 10)
  • Remote Research Help (available now)
  • Remote and In-Person Instructional Support (available now)
  • UCLA Library Locations (Doors open September 13)
  • Louise M. Darling Biomedical Library
    • Graduate Reading Room (opens September 23)
    • Technology & Learning Center (opens September 23)
