On May 31, 2018, the UCLA Research Enhancement Office announced a new internal (for UCLA lead PIs only) seed funding mechanism in anticipation of an upcoming solicitation from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for new Materials Research Science & Engineering Centers (MRSEC).
