Permanent Baseline Quotas for UCLA Google Accounts Now in Effect

On June 27, 2024, Administrative Vice Chancellor Michael J. Beck, Vice Chancellor for Research & Creative Activities Roger M. Wakimoto, and Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Information Officer Lucy Avetisyan, announced permanent storage quotas to UCLA Google personal accounts and shared drives.

Unless accounts were granted quota extensions or purchased additional storage to support university business, Bruins were assigned baseline quotas based on primary affiliation and encouraged to reduce storage to avoid service interruptions.
