New Research and Digital Technologies Workshops for Spring Quarter

On April 24, 2023 Norman and Armena Powell University Librarian Virginia Steel announced UCLA Library’s Spring Quarter Workshops. These workshops are offered to help the Bruin Community with their papers, projects, and other scholarly endeavors. Workshops are offered via Zoom, in person, or asynchronously.

Some workshops are presented in collaboration with the Office of Advance Research Computing (OARC). These Spring Digital Technologies Workshops introduce tools, methods and workflows to demonstrate ways to design research projects or processes from collecting (or finding) data, through analysis, and, ideally, sharing or publication.

New this quarter are drop-in Instructional Design Workshops. These workshops help faculty integrate materials from the Library Digital Collections into their courses. Additionally, the Library offers the Cornerstone Research Workshops for those interested in building foundational research skills.
