On August 27, 2024, Interim Chancellor Darnell Hunt and Vice Chancellor for UCLA Health Sciences John Mazziotta, jointly announced a $120 million gift to UCLA from Gary and Alya Michaelson.
This generous gift will help kick-start the California Institute for Immunology & Immunotherapy at the new Research Park.
