Wakimoto announced the revised UCLA Policy 995: Dual Use Research of Concern (DURC) to comply with the May 2024 United States Government Policy on Dual Use Research of Concern and Pathogens with Enhanced Pandemic Potential (USG Policy).

Proposals to government and non-profit entities for research, training, fellowships, and other sponsored activities need OCGA review and approval.
