Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Emily A. Carter Shares Information About UCLA's Commitment to Ethical Standards in Research

On Tuesday, February 4, 2020, Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Emily A. Carter shared a BruinPost about UCLA’s commitment to compliance with U.S. laws and regulations that govern how international engagements are managed and reported.

EVC Carter referenced a 2019 memo from Former Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Scott Waugh which emphasized the importance of complying with U.S. laws and regulations, as well as a message from UCLA leadership about the campus’ commitment to international collaboration, education, service and research. EVC Carter also shared the UC Statement of Ethical Values and Standards of Ethical Conduct (PDF) which applies to all members of the University community.
