Attend a Computational Mechanics and Sciences ReACt Workshop at the University of Utah, Co-Organized with Los Alamos National Laboratory

The University of Utah and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) are organizing a joint-workshop on computational mechanics and sciences. The workshop will be hosted at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City from October 10-11, 2019. A theme of the workshop will be promoting gender equity within the Computational and Science fields.

There will be a number of discussion topics within the thrust area and a facilitator from both LANL and a ReACt University or research agency in each topical workshop. Topics will include:

  • Design of nanomaterials
  • Design of materials –structural  systems
  • Physics-based machine learning
  • Multi-scale, multi-physics modeling
  • Computational visualization
This is part of the Regional Academic Collaboration (ReACt); registration is free and may be completed online. There will be an opportunity to present posters for early registrants (space is limited).
