Via a BruinPost sent to the campus community on February 11, 2014, Assistant Vice Chancellor James Gibson announced an event spanning March 4-14 for employees to obtain Personal Protective Equipment. Lab coats and protective eyewear will be made available at no cost to all lab personnel in research laboratories. Lab personnel who meet necessary requirements will be provided two lab coats and two pairs of protective eyewear (safety glasses and/or goggles). Principal Investigators (PIs) will also be provided two face shields and two chemically resistant aprons.
