This service for the UCLA community is managed by the Research Enhancement Office within the Office for Research and Creative Activities. If you have an opportunity to include in the listing, please use the Submit an Opportunity form to provide the requested information.

The University of California Institute for Mexico and the United States (UC MEXUS), established in 1980, is an academic research institute dedicated to encouraging, securing, and contributing to binational and Latino research and collaborative academic programs and exchanges. Its main focus is to contribute substantially to improving binational scholarly understanding and providing positive contributions to society in both Mexico and the United States, particularly in the graduate and professional areas.  The headquarters for UC MEXUS is located at UC Riverside.

The University of California (UC) is soliciting ideas from the UC community for projects that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions or sequester carbon. Under UC’s Carbon Neutrality Initiative (CNI), the UC system has committed to reducing its net GHGs from its operations to zero by 2025. To help UC bring its emissions all the way down to zero, we are seeking two types of offset projects:
