Food Studies Course Development

The information below is from the 2019-2020 request for proposals. Please see the opportunity website for updated information.

With the generous support of the Semel Healthy Campus Initiative, the Faculty Advisory Committee for the Food Studies Minor is pleased to announce the availability of course development funding for up to three new undergraduate courses in the broad area of food.

Food is a global need, concern, and interest. Because of its fundamental role in human existence, the necessity of incorporating food into the full range of academic study, and the excellent capacity of the topic to bring together different parts of the academic world, and the larger world outside of our campus, we seek to increase undergraduate courses in this growing, interdisciplinary field. For further information about the Food Studies Minor, visit our food studies web page.

Note: At the time of posting this funding opportunity on our internal funding portal a website link was not available to submit an application. For information about the required application materials and how to submit, please refer to the details listed on this posting under "Due Date Information" below.
