Y&S Nazarian Center for Israel Studies Funding Opportunities: Postdoctoral Fellowships

Y&S Nazarian Center for Israel Studies invites applications for one-year postdoctoral fellowships in Israel Studies. The fellowship will begin in the Fall of each academic year. 

Those who are accepted to the postdoctoral program will be expected to:

  • Pursue original research about the modern state of Israel and produce work for submission to appropriate academic publications.
  • Teach at least one undergraduate course (one quarter).
  • Present one public lecture while in residence.
  • Participate actively in Nazarian Center research seminars and other public programs during the fellowship year.

This is a paid position with health coverage provided. Office space, and access to a computer, the UC library system, and other facilities available to members of the UCLA community will also be provided. Eligibility:

• Applicants must have a recent PhD degree from an accredited university conferred by start of fellowship.

• Citizens from any country are eligible for this fellowship.

• Academics who are permanently employed in full-time, tenure-track positions are not eligible to apply.
