The STAND for Community Colleges Innovation Center, UCLA’s new NIMH-funded ALACRITY Center, housed within the UCLA Depression Grand Challenge, invites applications for pilot study funding for projects during Year 2 of the ALACRITY P50 grant.
This pilot project funding is available for UCLA-based junior investigators for high-quality, innovative research that focuses on:
- increasing engagement in UCLA’s STAND program services
- addressing diverse populations (e.g., LGBTQ+ and Latinx students)
- increasing the uptake of digital therapy
- and other implementation science topics, such as improving clinician and coaching supervision and training models

Award Amount and Details
Funds will support 3 projects with each individual project budget not exceeding $25,000. Awarded funding will be based on the needs of the project.

Eligibility Information
Eligible applicants include UCLA postdoctoral fellows and early career
investigators (e.g., assistant professors, assistant project scientists, assistant
researchers). Junior investigators who belong to Latinx, Black, Indigenous,
and Asian-American Pacific Islander communities are strongly encouraged to
apply.
