Institute of Transportation Studies (UCLA): University of California Mobility Research Program

The University of California Institute of Transportation Studies receives funding from the 2017 California transportation user fee revenue augmentation measure (SB1) to fund a Mobility Research Program. State law requires the UC ITS to collect and incorporate input from the Legislature and Executive branch in determining priorities for expenditure of these funds.  The RFP document will change each year in response to these priories.

Past priories have included: traffic safety for pedestrians and cyclists, transportation and housing linkages, goods movement, active transportation, innovative mobility, improving data collection and quality, managing traffic congestion, transportation system performance evaluation, transportation equity, environment and transportation, health and transportation, and low-carbon transportation.
