The mission of the California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP) is to prevent and eliminate breast cancer by leading innovation in research, communication, and collaboration in the California scientific and lay communities. It is administered by the Research Grants Program Office within the University of California Office of the President. Each year, CBCRP administers multiple funding opportunities.
Below are the most recent conference awards of which we are aware. Please check the program home page for the most up-to-date information.
- The Standard Conference Award is open to all applicants who have the capacity to host an event. This award continues to support events that inform, stimulate ideas and foster research specific to breast cancer.
- The Community-Led Conference Award supports grassroots organizations that need more time or resources to develop and execute a successful event. Community-Led Conference Award applicants will submit a letter of intent prior to submitting a full application and the council will provide feedback that the applicant may use to prepare the application.
