Alianza MX provides funding for UC researchers to present at conferences in Mexico or to host events at a UC campus. The objective of this support is to establish a foundation for longer-term collaboration, which may include applications for additional funding support from extramural sources or in response to calls organized by Alianza MX.
Award Amount and Details
Proposal submissions can request up to $5,000 USD in funding for activities from March 1 to August 31, 2024. Funds can support travel to Mexico and event hosting costs at a UC campus, but may not be used for event hosting costs at Casa de California in Mexico City.

Eligibility Information
PIs may submit only one unique proposal for activities that are not included in any other submission to a call for proposals organized by Alianza MX. These activities may include travel to present at a conference in Mexico or hosting an event at a UC campus.
