Yaneth Mora López joined UCLA’s Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (OVCR) in 2019 as the Funding Opportunities Analyst in the Research Enhancement Office (REO). She graduated from San Diego State University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Child Development (Family Specialization) and two minors: (1) Spanish (2) Counseling and Social Change. She has versatile experiences working in different departments of higher education, community outreach, fundraising consulting, and providing legal services to underrepresented communities. She is highly driven towards providing efficient support and access to quality educational opportunities.
Prior to joining UCLA, Yaneth worked as a Project Assistant for the San Diego Community College District in both the San Diego Mesa College Admissions and Records Department and the District Student Services Department. In her current role at UCLA, she will be collaborating with Kathleen Sullivan (Funding Opportunities and Awards Officer) in the management of the limited submission opportunities process, other funding opportunity services, and special projects. As the Funding Opportunities Analyst, Yaneth strives to support UCLA’s researchers by providing adequate resources and facilitating access to external and internal funding opportunities.
